PHOENIX — Jason Kelce was once a campus linebacker who pulverized any student who didn’t contribute to Cincinnati’s “Proudly Pennies” campaign. “He was tackling people on the street because they wouldn’t put pennies in a jar,” his mother, Donna Kelce, said, “because he was, you know, a defensive player in college in the beginning.” He didn’t really mean it.
