Elon Musk‘s Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) reportedly asked the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to withhold specific details about the use of its driver-assistance software in cars involved in crashes, Business Insider reported, citing the New Yorker. The request to redact was based on Tesla’s claim that such details contained “confidential business information”.
