Queen Silvia of Sweden officially opened a high-tech residential complex for dementia patients in the small town of Forst in eastern Germany on Friday. Hundreds of residents came to the town centre to welcome the monarch, many pulling out their mobile phones and waving small Swedish flags. Silvia, 79, has been personally involved in helping people with dementia and memory loss for decades.
