Ahead of this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Samsung has announced an event during which it will likely introduce its latest smartphone.
The electronics giant revealed it is hosting its annual Unpacked event on February 11, roughly one month after CES kicks off.
A 15-second teaser announcing the event offered few details, other than the company will unveil “new, innovative devices that will shape the next decade of mobile experiences.”
Although Samsung has yet to confirm what devices it will reveal, the company has typically used the gathering to share the first details on its Galaxy smartphone, specifically the Galaxy S11.
Last year, Samsung hosted a similar event during which they announced the Galaxy S10.
According to The Verge, Samsung would not only reveal the Galaxy S11, which might be rebranded as the S20, but a new edition of its Galaxy Fold smartphone with a folding touchscreen.
The Fold launched in September following delays caused by technical issues with the device’s folding display.
