One day ticket, seven admissions: Louvre ticket scam foiled

The most-visited museum in the World has reportedly been falling victim to a ticket scam in which people queueing to the museum are sold the used day tickets from those who have already left. Visitors leaving the Louvre Museum have been urged by suspected ticket scammers to give them their ticket on paper or in electronic form, newspaper Le Parisien reported in June. As the tickets entitle the holder to unlimited entry on the day of validity, the perpetrators then sold them to tourists in the queue in front of the museum.
