New Toyota SUV marks first foray into all-electric territory

The cryptic name of Toyota’s first bespoke, all-electric bZ4X SUV might seem like a throwback to a cheeky robot from the Star Wars film series and to be honest, it it hardly rolls off the tongue. Toyota says the bZ letters refer to the Japanese brand’s “Beyond Zero” electrification strategy and have nothing to do with droids like R2-D2. No matter, most buyers will just find it hard to pronounce.
