International Design Day (IDD) is 60! Today marks six decades since the International Council of Design was founded on 27 April 1963. This year’s theme is ‘Peace. Love. Design!’ and the Council is harking back to its 60s roots. This IDD has a particular focus on the peace sign, designed by British graphic artist Gerald Holtom initially as a logo for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
