Germany’s governing coalition presented several new laws, including plans to boost the country’s ailing economy, as its two-day retreat drew to a close on Wednesday. The at times unwieldy government coalition of Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s Social Democrats (SPD), the Greens and the Free Democrats (FDP) used the conference out of the public eye to prepare for the second half of its four-year term.
