Amazon is bringing more free delivery options to Prime members this holiday season.

Hours after Kohl’s released its Black Friday ad, Amazon announced its holiday kickoff with “special, early holiday deals” starting Friday and through Nov. 21 at

“The holiday season is almost here. Now’s the time to visit Amazon’s Holiday Store to discover everything you need (and more) to ring in the season,” the e-commerce giant said in a blog post early Friday. “Whether you’re decking the halls with festive décor, winning an ugly sweater contest, or just playing, ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ – Amazon has you covered, however you choose to celebrate.”

Amazon says Prime members also will have more free delivery options including one-day and same-day delivery “with no minimum purchase amount – to receive gifts, festive décor, or must-have grocery items and ingredients, delivered to your door, garage or even your car faster than ever.”

A new curated gift guide, Mariah’s Must Haves, includes “items Mariah personally uses, as well as gifts and finds uniquely inspiring during the holidays, from a karaoke machine to the perfect wine glass,” the blog post said. The guide celebrates the 25th anniversary of her Christmas classic, “All I Want for Christmas is You,” which was the most streamed holiday single in the U.S. on Amazon Music in 2017 and 2018.

Amazon has been moving to cut its delivery time in half to one day instead of two, an effort that is costing the company about $1.5 billion, officials said last week. At the same time, one-day shipping is attracting more shoppers to spend more.
