Nearly 48 acres of land, located at what was formerly known as the Salem Business Center, will be the future home to three warehouse buildings, according to a release last week put out by the Carneys Point property’s new owners, D2 Collins LLC of Philadelphia. The seller, the Delaware River and Bay Authority, closed the $15.63 million deal on Dec. 22 for what is now known as Salem Commerce Park. Microsoft to cut 10,000 jobs worldwide as tech layoffs mount

Software giant Microsoft has announced it is cutting 10,000 jobs, or approximately 5 per cent of its workforce, in response to “macroeconomic conditions and changing customer priorities”.
