Washington (AFP) – The United States unveiled a raft of new rights-abuse sanctions Friday on senior officials and entities in eight countries, with targets ranging from a Chinese firm specializing in facial recognition technology to a giant cartoon studio in North Korea. Thailand’s big data industry is expected to grow 0.19% year-on-year to 13.7 billion baht in 2021 and stay at that level next year, driven by the surge in big data analysis to develop products and services to meet market demand, says the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (Depa). The Thai economy is expected to fully rebound in 2023, according to Finance Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith. He said 2022 would mark the start of the recovery, with the economy predicted to expand by 4% next year.
